2026 - A Place to Mourn and Remember

In 2026, Building Hope began supporting the construction of a second floor on the rectory and parish facilities at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Pomalca, Peru. The new space is being developed to provide the community with a dedicated place where families can gather to mourn and remember their loved ones.

For many families, having an appropriate place to gather during times of loss can be a significant challenge. This project will provide a welcoming space for families to come together, support one another, and grieve with dignity.

The project is still ongoing, and the Building Hope Night fundraiser held in May 2026 helped contribute toward its construction. While there is still work to be completed, we are grateful to be able to support the parish throughout the process and help make this important community space a reality.
