2023 – Rectory & Parish Office Project

In 2023, the generosity of our supporters helped bring the new Rectory and Parish Office at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Pomalca, Peru, to completion. Funds raised during the Talent Night for Peru at St. Raphael Parish in Burlington, Ontario, played a vital role in making this project possible.

The new rectory provides a permanent residence for the parish priest, allowing him to live close to the community he serves and making pastoral care and parish services more accessible to parishioners. The parish office also creates a welcoming space where the faithful can more easily seek guidance, receive the sacraments, and participate in parish life.

This gallery includes photographs of the construction process, the completed building, the blessing and dedication of the project by the Bishop of the Diocese of Chiclayo, and the commemorative plaque recognizing all those who made this project a reality—including the parishioners of St. Raphael Parish, whose kindness and support continue to strengthen our sister parish in Peru.
